Available to stream over Hulu, Seinfeld is one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. This award-winning show became famous for being a show “about nothing” as it focused on a lovable and zany cast of friends living in New York City during the ’90s. This show will forever be a part of popular culture with laugh-out-loud episodes such as The Chinese Restaurant, The Bubble Boy, and The Marine Biologist.
Offered on Netflix, Cheers aired for a little over a decade from 1982 to 1993. One of the highest-rated sitcoms of all time, Cheers won 28 Emmy Awards throughout its eleven seasons. Taking place in a pub in Boston, this sitcom followed the antics of memorable characters such as Coach, Sam Malone, and Frasier Crane. Listed on TV Guide‘s 100 Greatest episodes of all time, Cheers made the number seven spot with Thanksgiving Orphans. A spin-off show, Frasier, was also very popular from 1993 to 2004.
The Mary Tyler Moore Show
A 70’s favorite, The Mary Tyler Moore Show aired from 1970 to 1977 and is available on Hulu. Created by television great, James L Brooks, The Mary Tyler Moore Show follows the life of Mary Richards as she moves to Minneapolis to take a job at a low-budget television station. Classic characters such as Lou Grant, Ted Baxter, and Rhoda Morgenstern make for an incredible supporting cast to legendary actress Mary Tyler Moore.
